Dortmund eyeing Diaz

Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing Manchester City sensation Brahim Diaz, according to the Metro.

The midfielder is the latest City teenager to be linked with a move to the Bundesliga outfit after reports that they were also looking at Phil Foden emerged earlier this week.

They also signed Jadon Sancho from the Premier League leaders last summer and he has gone on to represent England at senior level.

Foden scored his first senior City goal in the ELF Cup third round win over Oxford United in September and it was Diaz’s turn on Thursday evening as he bagged both goals in a 2-0 win over Fulham in the fourth round of the same competition.

The Spain U21 international made five league appearances last term – enough to see him earn a Premier League winners medal but he has yet to feature, even in a matchday squad this time around.
