Borussia Dortmund are keeping close tabs on Nantes defender Papy Djilobodji, reports Le Parisien.
The Millionaires signed veteran Manuel Friedrich in December as a short-term solution for their defensive crisis, but they also plan to add a high-quality centre-back to their ranks at the earliest opportunity.
And Le Parisien has suggested that Nantes stopper Papy Djilobodji is one of the first names on their hit-list.
The 25-year-old has been in scintillating form this season and he is widely expected to leave the Canaries for a bigger club.
The player who scored 3 goals in 18 league outings this season is valued at €20 million by chairman Waldemar Kita, but chances are he will be available for lot less.
Borussia Dortmund are desperate to get their league campaign back on track having slipped to fourth place in the overall standings, with the Millionaires 3/10 to defeat Augsburg in their first match after the winter break.
