Dortmund eyeing Thomas Meunier

Borussia Dortmund are keeping close tabs on Club Brugge full-back Thomas Meunier, according to Sport Mediaset.

The Millionaires see the 24-year-old as a natural successor to Lukasz Piszczek, who has largely struggled through injury over the last few years.

Borussia Dortmund reportedly lead the chase for the Belgium international, who has even managed to score 3 goals this season.

It is believed that the likes of Inter Milan, Wolfsburg and Hamburg are keen on his services as well, meaning the Millionaires will have to act quickly if they want to get their man.

Thomas Meunier has been in excellent form ever since he joined Club Brugge from minnows Virton, making a total of 126 league appearances and scoring 12 goals in the process.

The talented footballer has missed some action this season through injury, but he has since returned to the side and managed to score the winner in Club Brugge’s win over Legia Warsaw yesterday evening.
