According to a recent report from Bild, Borussia Dortmund are set to enter the race to sign Alfonso Pedraza. The 23 year old winger has been with Villarreal since he joined their youth system back in 2011, and ever since then he’s been building his way up through the ranks – and he’s done the same on an international level, too.
It’s no secret that the German club are also interested in bringing David Neres over to the club, but Pedraza seems to be an equally viable target for them. It’s also well known that Villarreal haven’t exactly had the best of seasons up to this point from a domestic standpoint, which could increase the likelihood of Pedraza moving on to pastures new.
The wheels have come off of Dortmund’s Bundesliga title challenge in recent weeks with Bayern Munich taking full control of things, and as we look ahead to next season, they’ll be incredibly eager to rectify that.
