Borussia Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke admits that the club will listen to offers for playmaker Nuri Sahin.
The Turkey international has rejected a contract extension, which means that he could be on his way out of Signal Iduna Park
“We have already tried to extend his deal. Unfortunately this has still not yet succeeded,” Watze told Bild.
“If Nuri gets an offer from Real Madrid or Barcelona, he has every right to talk about it with us. Then we will sit down with him and discuss it.”
However, it appears that Borussia chiefs have already found him a replacement in Nurnberg midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.
“We would like to oblige him (Gundogan). This means that we are financially with him but first FC Nuremburg have to agree,” Watzke added.
“If Ilkay Gundogan wants to develops more, he is coming to the right place.”
