Champions League runners-up Borussia Dortmund are the latest club to have joined the race for Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas.
The Spaniard seems to be fed up with waiting for his chance at Santiago Bernabeu and is reportedly ready to leave the club in January.
Manchester City and Arsenal have been credited with an interest in the Spain international, but Daily Mirror suggests Borussia Dortmund are also keen.
Even with first choice keeper Roman Weidenfeller keeping the rich vein of form and recently signing a new deal at Signal-Iduna Park, the Millionaires are desperate to get their hands on one of Europe’s top goalkeepers.
Borussia Dortmund hope to build on last season’s success and the club are looking to attract more high-profile signings in the future.
Iker Casillas, 32, has failed to make a single La Liga appearance since January, having lost the starting berth to former Villarreal goalkeeper Diego Lopez.
