Catalan daily Sport reports that Borussia Dortmund are showing interest in Barcelona hotshot Gerard Deulofeu.
The Germans boast a big transfer kitty ahead of the summer transfer window and they are eager to continue their policy of signing young and talented players.
According to Sport, the Millionaires are pondering a summer move for Barca’s Gerard Deulofeu.
The 19-year-old, who is widely regarded as the hottest prospect at Camp Nou has a contract until June 2014 with the Catalans and a release clause of €8 million.
He is currently in talks with club officials over a contract extension, but Borussia Dortmund hope they can lure the player to Signal-Iduna Park instead.
In spite of his amazing potential and some scintillating displays at Barca B and Spain youth teams, Deulofeu has yet to be given a chance to shine in the first team set-up.
The youngster has made just 2 La Liga appearances up to date, although he has scored 18 goals in 29 league matches for the reserve side this term.
