Sky Sport Italia has learned that Borussia Dortmund are stepping up their efforts to sign Argentine striker Paulo Dybala from Palermo.
The Millionaires recruited the likes of Ciro Immobile and Adrian Ramos last summer in an attempt to replace Robert Lewandowski, but both forwards have struggled this term, leading to Jurgen Klopp turning towards Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
And it appears Dortmund are ready to try and make things right next summer as they are reportedly keen on Palermo’s Paulo Dybala.
According to Sky Sport Italia, BVB officials plan to meet with the Rosanero chiefs in the coming days and negotiate a potential sale.
But, with Palermo adamant it would take €40 million to sign the highly rated forward, Borussia clearly face an uphill task.
Dybala, who has just over a year left on his deal at Renzo Barbera, has managed no less than 12 goals and 7 assists in 23 Serie A outings this season.
