Borussia Dortmund are the latest high-profile club to have joined the chase for Benfica hotshot Nemanja Matic, according to A Bola.
The Serbian midfielder has become one of Europe’s most sought-after players, with a host of high-profile sides lining up for his signature.
And A Bola has now suggested that Borussia Dortmund are also interested in signing the 25-year-old footballer.
The Millionaires look set to stay without key midfielder Ilkay Gundogan and they believe Matic would be a perfect replacement for the Germany international.
The €50 million release clause could prove to be the problem, but recent reports suggest the Eagles would consider offers in the region of €30 million.
Borussia Dortmund are, however, set to face stiff competition for Nemanja Matic given that the likes of Chelsea, Napoli, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco are also keen.
Benfica are currently involved in a very exciting title chase in Primeira Liga, and are priced at 13/10 to come out on top.
