BV Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller will miss Saturday’s German Cup final against FC Bayern München after being ruled out for the rest of the season with a partial ligament tear to his right knee.
Weidenfeller, 27, suffered the injury in training. Understudy Marc Ziegler will start the Olympiastadion showpiece against Bayern in his place.
