Dortmund launch assault on Martinez
Borussia Dortmund are lining up a summer move for Porto star Jackson Martinez, according to A Bola.
It is no secret the Millionaires are searching for a new centre forward, with Robert Lewandowski likely to be sold in the summer.
The Polish striker has just over a year left on his deal at Signal-Iduna Park and summer transfer window is the last chance for BVB to cash in on the highly rated forward.
Meanwhile, Dortmund have been linked with a move for Porto striker Jackson Martinez. According to A Bola, the Millionaires are set to open talks with the player’s employers over a possible move to Germany.
Jackson Martinez has been in scintillating form ever since he joined Dragons from Jaguares, and Porto now face a fight to keep hold of their prized asset.
Barcelona, Juventus, Milan, Atletico Madrid and Liverpool are all believed to be keeping close tabs on the player who scored 23 goals in as many league games this term.
Liverpool in €20 million bid for Eriksen
Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf understands that Liverpool are in a pole position to sign Ajax schemer Christian Eriksen.
The Reds are in desperate need of a creative midfielder and it seems they have made the Denmark international their number one target.
Liverpool have had the player watched on numerous occasions this season and it looks as though they are ready to follow up their interest.
According to De Telegraaf, the Reds are preparing a €20 million bid to prize the talented midfielder away from Amsterdam ArenA.
Eriksen has already set his sights on leaving the club in the summer and it is believed the English Premier League is his preferred destination.
His current employers are lining up a move for AZ Alkmaar star Adam Maher, who is seen as a perfect replacement for Eriksen.
Inter and Juve battle for Diamanti, Mertens
La Gazzetta dello Sport has learned that Inter and Juventus are locked in the battle for a number of high-profile players.
The two clubs are set to meet in Derby d’Italia on Saturday, but that is not the only fight they will be leading this season.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the two clubs are showing interest in virtually the same footballers as they plan for the 2013/2014 season.
Bologna playmaker Alessandro Diamanti is the first of those, and he is likely to be sold to the highest bidder in the summer transfer window.
The Neroazzuri and the Bianconeri are also keen on Barcelona star Alexis Sanchez, who could return to Serie A following a disappointing spell at Camp Nou.
Ascoli striker Simone Zaza, Ajax defender Toby Alderweireld and PSV Eindhoven attacker Dries Mertens are other players reportedly followed by both Inter and Juventus.
