Benfica winger Romario Balde has been the subject of interest from Borussia Dortmund and Lazio, according to A Bola.
The 18-year-old made the headlines by missing a Panenka penalty in the UEFA Youth League against Shakhtar Donetsk that eventually saw the Eagles eliminated form the competition.
But, he still did enough to catch the eye of European powerhouses Borussia Dortmund and Lazio, according to the latest reports.
The two clubs had scouts present at said UEFA Youth League fixture with a view of submitting official proposals for the winger’s services.
Romario Balde is in the final year of his contract at Estadio da Luz and is free to negotiate a Bosman deal with interested sides.
The talented footballer has scored 7 goals in 15 UEFA Youth League matches, while making nine appearances for the Benfica II side in Portugal’s second tier.
He has represented Portugal at various youth levels and is currently a member of the Under 19 side.
