Borussia Dortmund are open to offers for Jadon Sancho, according to Miguel Delaney of the Independent.
There appears to have been a heavy breakdown in the relationship between the club and the player, and the 19-year-old, who was already suspended once for failing to return from international duty in time, is now set for another punishment – this time in the form of a hefty fine for being late for a team briefing and a training session ahead of the 3-1 defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League.
Dortmund have been angry at the player and his entourage for trying to force a move in January despite their promise to let him go in the summer if a suitable offer comes in, but now they are willing to sever the ties in the winter too. They still haven’t decided on a potential replacement for the winger and that may influence the matter when the window opens, but at the moment, they are willing to listen to offers. They are looking for €100 million, but their position has been weakened somewhat by their own change of stance.
Real Madrid, Liverpool and the two Manchester clubs are monitoring the situation closely.
