Swiss daily newspaper Blick is reporting that Borussia Dortmund are keeping close tabs on two FC Basel footballers.
The Millionaires sporting director Michael Zorc was present as FC Basel defeated Man Utd in the Champions League clash yesterday evening, making a check on two targets.
Red Bull Salzburg forward Dimitri Oberlin, currently on loan at St. Jakob-Park, was in the focus having shown a great deal of promise since arriving in Switzerland.
The 20-year-old especially impressed in the club’s Champions League campaign, bagging 3 goals in 5 appearances.
His defensive teammate Manuel Akanji is also a target for Borussia Dortmund, with the centre-back already making 38 league outings for FC Basel.
