According to Bild, Borussia Dortmund are gearing up to invest the £58 million they made from Christian Pulisic in a big way. Leonardo Balerdi and Thorgan Hazard are believed to be at the top of their wish list, with Hazard reportedly rejecting a contract extension with fellow German club Borussia Monchengladbach.
Thorgan is believed to be worth around €42 million, and it’ll be interesting to see whether or not Dortmund are willing to spend that kind of money on him. Apparently one of Dortmund’s lawyers is already in Argentina speaking with Balerdi, 19, who currently plays for Boca Juniors.
Boca’s club president has already revealed that he wants to leave, and it would appear as if there is no better offer at this moment in time than Dortmund’s.
The German giants are currently six points clear at the top of Bundesliga, with Bayern Munich being their closest rivals – followed by Monchengladbach and Leipzig.
