According to Kicker.de, German giants Borussia Dortmund are reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid youngster Achraf Hakimi – also known simply as Achraf. The 19-year-old joined Real’s youth system way back in 2006 at the age of just eight, and since then, he’s been gradually progressing up through the ranks, making two appearances in the Champions League last season as Madrid won their third consecutive title in the competition.
Achraf’s experience at such a young age is invaluable, and he’s recently returned from a stint at the 2018 FIFA World Cup with Morocco. Even though they were unable to progress past the group stages, it would’ve helped his development to take part in such a huge event.
Dortmund will have to fend off interest from other clubs with Real Betis, Sevilla and Napoli also being in the running for his signature, but there’s always a chance that Madrid could decide to hold onto the teenage defender.
