Dortmund to keep looking at EPL youngsters

Borussia Dortmund have signed Jadon Sancho from Manchester City last summer, and the 18-year-old is quickly turning into a story of success at the Signal Iduna Park. So much so, that England manager Gareth Southgate had named him in his squad for this recent international break, and even handed him his international debut in the 0-0 draw against Croatia.

It seems the German club believe there was a lesson to be learned there, and their sporting director Michael Zorc says they will continue to scout young players from top Premier League clubs in the future, according to Sky Sports. Zorc believes that the tendency of top English clubs to sign ready-made stars for big money extremely limits the game-time of youngsters looking to break through and hinders their development.

He says things are done differently in Germany, and his club will now adopt looking for youthful talent in England as a regular part of their transfer strategy.
