London Evening Standard understands that Chelsea have placed a £50 million price tag on striker Michy Batshuayi.
The 24-year-old was loaned to Borussia Dortmund after struggling for game time at Stamford Bridge and he in turn largely impressed in German Bundesliga.
Batshuayi went on to score 7 goals in first 10 league appearances before suffering a season-ending ankle injury.
The Belgium international has clearly shown enough to persuade the Millionaires to try and purchase his contract from Chelsea, but that is not going to be an easy task.
Namely, the Blues want £50 million for the talented forward, as they still see him as an important player for the future.
It remains to be seen whether Batshuayi will recover in time for Belgium’s 2018 World Cup opener against Panama, where the Red Devils are 2/13 to emerge victorious.
