Dortmund, Valencia keen on Maxwell Cornet

Borussia Dortmund and Valencia are among clubs showing interest in Lyon winger Maxwell Cornet, according to L’Equipe.

Despite failing to nail down a regular starting berth, the 21-year-old has impressed the visiting scouts and he could now get the opportunity to leave les Gones for greener pastures.

L’Equipe claims that Borussia Dortmund and Valencia scouts watched the winger in the 2-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain, with Cornet playing full 90 minutes.

Having managed 3 goals and 6 assists so far this season, the Ivorian is regarded as an important member of the squad and he has another three and a half years left on his contract.
