Dortmund’s summer plans

Borussia Dortmund apparently have big plans for the near future.

After Christian Pulisic went from a full-time Dortmund player to another Chelsea loanee for the rest of the season, reports broke out of various clubs being interested in young sensation Jadon Sancho. However, Sancho only joined the Bundesliga side from Manchester City and club sporting director Michael Zorc recently expressed a firm stance that the English winger won’t be going anywhere any time soon.

Meanwhile, Dortmund have been on the lookout for a Pulisic replacement, with Borussia Monchengladbach’s Thorgan Hazard mentioned along with Bayer Leverkusen’s Julian Brandt.  They have also been linked with Glasgow Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, but that possibility seems to have ended with the striker signing a new deal with his current club.

Apart from strengthening the attacking section of the team, Dortmund are also hunting for a defensive addition, and according to Bild, their main target for that department is Niklas Stark of Hertha Berlin.
