Dossena’s future unclear, says agent

Liverpool’s left back player Andrea Dossena, who has hinted for a possible move to Juventus, may stay at Liverpool according to the player’s agent.

The Italian international had high hopes of returning to Serie A after Juve admitted an interest in the player.

“We can only wait,” said Dossena’s agent Roberto La Florio to Corriere dello Sport.

“For the time being, I have not met (Juventus sporting director) Alessio Secco and I don’t have an appointment set up with him in the near future.”

“At this time I don’t know if Dossena will join Juventus.”

The Turin based club have been linked with a move for the 27-year-old, who had a disappointing debut season at Anfield after his £7million transfer from Udinese.

But Juve are also considering Lyon’s Italy international Fabio Grosso to fill the left-back spot.

“I know there are some problems with Grosso’s negotiations,” said La Florio. “We can only wait, we are not in a hurry.”

“In any case the lad (Dossena) is also happy at Liverpool”
