Liverpool Echo have reported that Watford’s Abdoulaye Doucoure has revealed his ‘dream’ to play at Anfield.

Emre Can’s contract expires this summer and much speculation has been going on regarding the reason why the negotiations about a new deal have so far been unsuccessful. RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita will officially become a Liverpool player on July 1st, but Klopp has always seen the Guinean as an addition to his midfield rather than a replacement for a departing player. Therefore, signing Doucoure would certainly make sense for the five-times European champions.
The French powerhouse would certainly be a ready-made replacement for Emre Can, should the German leave.
