Doyle set for MLS switch

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Kevin Doyle is considering a move to MLS side Colorado Rapids, according to the Mail Online.

The 31 year old has fallen down the pecking order at the Championship club, and is set to move on when his contract expires at the end of the season.

He spent the first half of this campaign on loan at Crystal Palace, but made just five appearances for them, scoring his one and only goal for the club in a 4-0 win at non-league Dover Athletic in the third round of the FA Cup.

Prior to his move to Molineux, the Republic of Ireland international spent four seasons at Reading, and was part of the Royals’ squad that won promotion to the Premier League in 2006.

He has won sixty-one caps for his country, scoring fourteen goals, and played for them at the 2012 European Championships in Austria and Ukraine.
