Club Brugge fumbled an opportunity to move within two points of Anderlecht on Sunday, drawing 0-0 with Lokeren in the Championship playoffs.

Chances were few and far between at the Jan Breydel Stadion, though Brugge can perhaps lay claim to the best after Moroccan midfielder Nabil Dinar turned the ball narrowly wide in the 15th minute.

Fellow midfielder Carl Hoefkens also hit the upright after getting a header to a whipped-in cross in the second half.

Brugge remain fourth on the playoff table, four points behind leaders Anderlecht and three off the Champions League places.

Lokeren are bottom after going winless through three playoff games.
