According to a recent report from Sky Germany, Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Julian Draxler will not be making the jump over to the Bundesliga to join Hertha Berlin after all.
The finances involved no longer work for all parties, which should ensure that Draxler’s stay in the French capital is dragged out even further.
He quite clearly wants to test the waters with something different and has done for a while now, and PSG themselves are probably well aware of that. Alas, while Hertha thought they’d been able to hit the jackpot, it now appears as if he’s going to end up elsewhere.
One of PSG’s biggest issues in recent times has been holding onto the star names within their ranks, and this year, it’ll be even more vital than ever before that they do so as they are in a great position to make a run through to the final of the UEFA Champions League.
