Draxler set to fight at PSG

According to a recent report from L’Equipe, Paris Saint-Germain star Julian Draxler is not planning on leaving the club during the January transfer window – and is ready and willing to fight for his place in the starting XI. Draxler has been linked with a switch over to the Premier League in recent weeks, but it wasn’t quite known whether or not the links were serious. 

Now, it has become clear that he isn’t going to entertain the idea of a move away even if it’s a serious offer. 

PSG may have different plans in that regard, but either way, it should make for an interesting back and forth across January. The French champions are starting to put together a squad capable of really challenging within the top table of European football, but their continued success will largely come down to whether or not they can maintain their star names in addition to attracting new ones.
