Drinkwater heading to Turkey?

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Danny Drinkwater is in talks to join Turkish club Kasimpasa on a loan deal.

The Chelsea midfielder hasn’t made a Premier League appearance for the Blues in years, and with his troubles off the pitch also harming his reputation, you’d have to think his time in English football is slowly but surely coming to an end.

The former Leicester City star was able to burst onto the scene with the Foxes but hasn’t been able to reach those same heights ever since, and at the age of 30, it’s important for him that he chooses his next destination wisely.

Chelsea don’t seem to have too many reservations, if any, over the prospect of allowing him to leave, and if it’s going to be the kind of move that helps him both mentally and physically, then perhaps that’s what he needs to do in order to reinject some life back into his career.
