Talk Sport is today reporting that former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba would be open to move to Juventus in the January transfer window.
Drogba is of course currently plying his trade with Chinese outfit Shanghai Shenhua, but he has not had a great time since joining in the summer from the European Champions. Much of this is down to the clubs finances.
Now though, the Ivorian is apparently giving Juventus the green light to come and land his signature and he would welcome a move to Serie A to prove himself in another European league.
It is thought that Drogba would love to play in the Champions League again, a competition he of course has great memories of after scoring the winning penalty for Chelsea back in May.
The one problem with this deal could be the two teams failing to agree a transfer fee though, with Shenhua demanding £8 million for the centre-forward, but the Italian champions are only willing to spend around £4 million as they are strapped for cash at the moment.
They may meet in the middle and agree a fee around the £6 million mark, and then Drogba would open talks over a proposed 18-month-deal in Turin.
