Drogba ponders summer move to MLS

Chelsea star Didier Drogba is thinking about a summer move to MLS, according to News of the World.

The 33-year-old is no longer considered a first team regular at Stamford Bridge and he is thinking about leaving Chelsea in the summer, with a number of clubs interested in his services.

While Marseille and Galatasaray are some of the clubs linked with a summer move for the Ivorian, the latest reports suggest that Drogba could instead move across the Atlantic and join one of the MLS sides.

After players like David Beckham and Theirry Henry moved to La Galaxy and New York Red Bulls respectively, the MLS chiefs are looking to bring more European stars to America and they have now set their sights on the Chelsea striker.

Drogba has reportedly held informal talks with Thierry Henry as he wanted to find out more about the competition and he is thought to be keen on a move to America.
