According to Sky Sports, Bobby Duncan is frustrated with Liverpool’s refusal to even entertain offers his services at the moment. The 18-year-old was left out of the U-23 team which beat Southampton in a Premier League 2 match last night (Monday).
The Merseyside club have so far rejected two loan offers for the young forward, one from Danish side FC Nordsjaelland and one from Fiorentina. Duncan would, however, like the opportunity to discuss things with the Serie A club, but Liverpool are standing firm about not letting him go at the moment.
Manager Jurgen Klopp gave Duncan a first team opportunity during the pre-season, and the youngster made his mark by scoring against Tranmere Rovers. Last season he was on target 25 times for the development squad. Sky Sports claim they’ve been told that Fiorentina’s offer was “unrealistic and derisory”, but that their representatives will be arriving to England this week to try and negotiate a deal which would see Duncan move to Italy before September 2.
