Brazil manager Dunga considers that being drawn into arguably the Group of Death at next year’s World Cup, may actually work in favor of his team.
The five-times World Champions face very tough opposition in South Africa, sharing Group G with Portugal, Cote d’Ivoire and Korea DPR.
In a post-draw interview, Dunga said that this forces his team to “arrive well-prepared”.
The 1994 World Cup winner added that although most groups are rather equal, he considers Group H (Spain, Chile, Honduras and Switzerland) the easiest in theory.
Striker Luis Fabiano added to Dunga’s comments, saying that Brazil’s group is “difficult”.
“I know some of Cote d’Ivoire’s players very wel. They are strong players and will make us word hard,” he said.
“Portugal is also a skilled team. We already played against them but this year it will be completely different.”
