Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has confirmed that Fabio Simplicio and Mark Bresciano are set to leave the club in the summer.
Simplicio has been linked with a move to Roma while it remains unclear what club Bresciano will join.
Zamparini told Antenna Sicilia: “We are working to reinforce the team with some investment where it’s necessary.
“As for the rest, we are losing Simplicio and Bresciano, and we also have to reinforce the defence.”
Palermo could also lose Danish defender Simon Kjaer, who has been linked with several of Europe’s biggest clubs.
