Groningen winger Dusan Tadic is set to complete his transfer to Twente, De Telegraaf understands.
The two clubs have been in talks for a couple of weeks now and it appears they are finally set to reach an agreement.
The Serbian winger is expected to complete the second part of his medical in Enschede early next week before signing a three-year deal with the Tukkers.
The Eredivisie outfit will also have the option to extend his deal for another year.
The player himself is hoping everything will be wrapped up as soon as possible seeing that he is eager to help Groningen achieve a respectable league finish.
“I will be happy when I put my signature, because then I can fully focus on football again,” Tadic was quoted as saying in De Telegraaf.
The Serbian international arrives to De Grolsch Veste Stadium as a replacement for Nacer Chadli, who is widely tipped to leave the club at the end of the season.
After finishing last season as the leading assist-maker in Dutch Eredivisie, Tadic has continued his fine form, scoring 6 goals and setting up 10 more than 28 league games.
