MVV defender Nick Kuipers admits he is tempted by the prospect of moving to England following links with several Championship sides.
The 22-year-old has been earning rave reviews for his performances in Dutch second division and it is only a matter of time before he leaves his current employers for greener pastures.
Sky Sports has revealed that the talented footballer is followed by Championship sides Derby County, Huddersfield Town, Brighton and Charlton, with Kuipers being likened to Aston Villa star Ron Vlaar.
The youngster admits he is aware of the heavy interest in his services and he hopes to complete a dream move to England in the near future.
“I’ve heard. It’s a great honour to be compared to such a player,” Kuipers said to Voetbal International.
“The Championship is fantastic, that is all I can say right now. Of course I want to continue progress as a footballer and England is a dream for me.”
Nick Kuipers has come through the youth ranks at boyhood club MVV and has so far amassed 89 league appearances.
He is almost certain to leave the club from Maastricht in the summer transfer window, either for an Eredivisie side or a foreign adventure.
