Times at Juventus have been quite interesting, especially in the recent times. The arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, the signing of Matthijs de Ligt, even Gianluigi Buffon’s and Leonardo Bonuccu’s returns have been unusual. But it is also interesting to see that the two players that were seen leaving the club last summer could now sign new deals and stay at the club for many years to come.
According to Calciomercato, Argentina internationals Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain are nearing deals to extend their contracts at Juventus. Both players were very close to getting a move away over the summer, as Dybala was linked with Man United and Tottenham, and Higuaín was branded as ‘finished’. Now they are likely to pen new terms, with Dybala signing until June 2024 and Higuaín for two years less.
The duo have starred under new boss Maurizio Sarri as Juve are top of Serie A and the only undefeated team in the competition.
