Dynamo Kiev have reached an agreement for the signing of striker Marco Ruben from Villarreal, the Spanish club announced on their official website.
The Argentine will put pen to paper later today subject to passing a medical in Kiev.
The talented striker is the third player to leave the Yellow Submarine this week, after Wakaso Mubarak and Gonzalo Rodriguez joined Espanyol and San Lorenzo respectively.
The El Madrigal outfit were unable to keep hold of their star players after they were relegated to Segunda, but Marco Ruben was not among the players expected to leave the club from the outskirts of Valencia.
The 25-year-old joined Villarreal from River Plate in December 2007, but then spent two seasons on loan at Recreativo Huelva before finally getting a real chance at El Madrigal.
Ruben has scored a total of 14 goals in 65 La Liga appearances for the Yellow Submarine, while bagging 17 goals in 30 games for Villarreal II.
