(GSM) – Dynamo Kyiv are close to a spot in the final qualifying round of the Champions League following a 3-0 win over Belgian side Gent.
The Ukranian side needed 19 minutes for Andriy Yarmolenko to open the scoring at Valery Lobanovsky stadium in the country’s capital city.
Gent seemed able to keep the damage to a minimum but former Milan and Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko doubled the gap with ten minutes to go. In added time, Roman Zozulya even added a third.
The return leg of this tie will be played in Gent on August 4.
