Russian news agency Itar-Tass has learned that Dynamo Moscow are set to submit an official proposal for Marseille star Andre-Pierre Gignac.
The Russian giants are preparing for life without Kevin Kuranyi, who will be out of contract in the summer, and they see the Frenchman as a perfect long-term replacement.
According to Itar-Tass, Dynamo will offer around €6 million for the experienced forward in the January transfer window.
Gignac also has a contract until the end of the season at Stade Velodrome, and it appears he is no closer to signing a new deal.
As a result, Marseille will be forced to consider any serious proposal in January, with Dynamo apparently leading the chase at the moment.
Gignac, 28, needed a while to prove his worth at Stade Velodrome, but he has been in excellent form over the last two and a half years, scoring 40 goals in last 80 Ligue 1 outings.
