Dynamo Moscow are ready to offload star player Alexey Yonov, Russian daily newspaper Izvestia has learned.

The Russian giants have decided to seriously trim down the hefty wage budget and already cashed in on a number of star players in the summer.

The latest reports suggest that star midfielder Alexey Yonov could follow in the footsteps of Mathieu Valbuena, Kevin Kuranyi, Fyodor Smolov, Balasz Dzudzsak, Douglas and William Vainqueur.

The 26-year-old did have a slow start to his career at Dynamo, but he has since developed into a very important member of the squad, and he is now regular in the Russia national team as well.

League rivals Spartak Moscow are believed to be leading the chase for his signature, and they will attempt to lower the reported €6 million asking price due to the fact that the midfielder’s current contract is due to expire in less than a year.
