Dzeko heading to Everton?

According to a recent report from Corriere dello Sport, Edin Dzeko is set to leave Roma at the end of the season – with Everton being heavily linked.

The Bosnian forward has seemingly been on his way out of the Italian club for quite some time now, largely due to disagreements he has had with the manager. While that may not be the sole reason it definitely seems to be playing some kind of role, and as we look ahead to the summer transfer window, it does feel like a handful of teams are gearing up to make a move for him.

That includes Everton who have been through a string of phases so far this season with regards to their goalscoring ability. Sometimes they’ve relied on Calvert-Lewin to get the job done, and other times, they’ve been scrambling for someone else to make an impact. Perhaps now, a veteran striker is exactly what they need heading into next season.
