Chelsea are considering a move for Roma forward Edin Dzeko, according to the Daily Star.
The Blues are desperate to bring in a new forward this month with Alvaro Morata and Michy Batshuyai their only options currently.
They have been linked with a number of surprise targets such as West Ham United’s Andy Carroll and Peter Crouch of Stoke City and now they are casting an eye of Dzeko.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina international moved to Roma initially on loan in the summer of 2015 and has so far racked up one hundred and sixteen appearances for them in all competitions, scoring sixty-one goals.
Prior to his switch to Italy, the thirty-one year old spent four-and-a-half years at Manchester City, where he played close to two hundred times and helped them to success in the Premier League on two occasions while he also won the FA Cup and the EFL Cup.
