Wolfsburg and Bosnia striker Edin Dzeko has revealed that he will not be leaving Wolfsburg.
The 23 year-old player, who has been top on the transfer target list of Milan, scored 26 times in 32 games helping Wolfsburg clinch the Bundesliga title.
Although the Italian outfit have declared their desire to sign the player, the player himself had not ruled out a possibility of a switch.
But the Bundesliga champions have made it known, that they do not want to sell the striker.
Dzeko held talks with Wolfsburg officials over the weekend and they have informed him he will be going nowhere, much to the dismay of the 23-year-old.
“I am staying at Wolfsburg,” Dzeko told Sky Sport 24.
“But I am not happy. I would like to join Milan, but I am tied to a contract and the club have decided not to release me.”
Wolfsburg are thought to be offering Dzeko a new improved deal to keep him at the club.
