fooball-betting-tips-newsBefore the new Premier League campaign started, Chelsea were seen by many as the main contenders for the league trophy, but the Blues haven’t exactly impressed in the opening exchanges.

Nevertheless, back to back triumphs over West Ham United and Southampton saw Jose Mourinho’s side climb to second in the overall standings, and the Stamford Bridge outfit seem to have a perfect opportunity to further close the gap behind leaders Arsenal.

Namely, Chelsea will only be facing bottom-table sides in the next three games, playing Sunderland and Stoke away before hosting Crystal Palace, so this could be the right time to back the Blues for the league title at 5/2.

And with Arsenal facing in-form Everton and Manchester City following the home clash against Hull City, there is clearly a great deal of value in those odds.

Chelsea are slowly returning to the right track after the disappointing start, although having won just two of six away matches in the league this term, they will have to show some improvement in order to continue the winning run.

Meanwhile, David Luiz and Oscar have been ruled out of the Sunderland clash, but the good news is Samuel Eto’o is set to return after missing the Southampton game.

However, with the Black Cats winning their last three matches at the Stadium of Light, odds of 4/7 offered on away win do not look too tempting.
