FC Porto remained at five points from Portuguese leaders Braga thanks to a 0-3 win at Olhanense, while Sporting Lisbon dropped another two points against Belenenses.

Colombian striker Radamel Falcao put Porto in the lead after 14 minutes at Olhanense, and Bruno Alves doubled the advantage just before the break. The third and final goal came with five minutes to go, and was again scored by Falcao.

Sporting Lisbon were held to a scoreless draw by Belenenses in a capital city derby, and as such remain stuck in fourth place at ten points from the leaders.

Benfica, Braga’s nearest rivals, could bring the gap back to just two points when facing Paços de Ferreira on Monday.
