Eboue flattered by Barca link

Arsenal wing-back Emmanuel Eboue has admitted he is flattered to be linked with a move to Spanish giants Barcelona.

Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola is keen to bring in Eboue as a backup for right-back Daniel Alves, according to reports.

Eboue told Sky Sports : “It is an honour to be linked with the best team in Europe, that means I am valued by people.

“I have lost my Arsenal place, and, while the papers talked about Fiorentina, nothing happened, so I don’t know about Barcelona. Let’s wait and see.”
