According to Football Insider, Eddie Howe has agreed to become the new manager of Celtic. It has been reported that the 43-year-old Englishman has held talks with the Scottish Premiership giants in London this week and has reached a verbal agreement with the Hoops over taking charge of the first team.
John Kennedy is in interim charge of the Celtic first team at the moment and is scheduled to remain so until the end of the season. Neil Lennon left his role as the manager in February after it became clear that the Glasgow giants were not going to win the Scottish Premiership title this season.
Howe is a brilliant manager who did a great job at Premier League club Bournemouth. The Englishman would be a superb managerial appointment at Celtic, who will be determined to reclaim the league title from Rangers next season.
