Reigning European champions Real Madrid are said to be keeping close tabs on the talented Porto defender Eder Militao.
The Portuguese newspaper Abola claims Los Blancos have sent scouts to Estadio do Dragao on multiple occasions in order to get an up-close look on the 20-year-old Brazilian who’s made an explosive start to the 2018/19 season.
Widely considered one of the most promising young defenders in Europe, Militao boasts great physicality, areal ability and tactical awareness.
Extremely quick for a defender, the Brazilian has been deployed both at right back and as a central midfielder this season. His preferred position in the heart of defence where he feels most comfortable.
Eder Militao joined Porto from Sao Paolo this summer for €7 million and is currently under a €50 million release clause which his employers are currently working to push up and tie him to a new contract amidst increased interest from La Liga heavyweights.
