Edin Dzeko added fuel to speculations that he could be joining Juventus in January as he admitted he was learning Italian.
The Bosnian striker has been heavily linked with a January move to Juventus, and he now admits to learning Italian.
“I am learning Italian. A few words is all I know and with Barzagli, Diego and Kjaer at Wolfsburg, they teach me a few phrases in Italian every day,” said Dzeko.
Asked if Wolfsburg’s disappointing season could speed up his departure from Germany, Dzeko replied:
“It might. But honestly, at the moment I am not thinking about that because we have a very difficult situation at Wolfsburg.
“We must try and return to winning this year because unfortunately we only did it few times and my job is to help the team return to being competitive.”
The Bosnian striker is aware of the hype surrounding him.
“There are so many rumours about my future. Once it is Juventus, then other teams like Manchester City and Bayern. At the moment, it is too early to talk about what will happen next summer, so I cannot say anything more.”
