Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani has moved to reveal that he would like to return to Napoli one day in the future.
The Uruguayan forward has been linked with a summer exit, although it appears that he will be staying at Parc des Princes at least for another more season.
However, Cavani still remembers the great time he had at Napoli and admits that he would like to return to Stadio San Paolo.
“I don’t know what’ll happen after PSG. I don’t know what’ll happen, but if I decide to change team, I might choose to return to Napoli and then go back home,” Cavani told Sky Sport Italia.
“I lived very special moments in their blue jersey. I think it was the time when everything changed for me.”
After bagging 78 goals in 104 Serie A appearances for the Azzurri, Cavani went on to join Paris Saint-Germain in a €63 million deal.
The experienced forward was scoring goals on regular basis despite mostly operating on the wing during the first three years with the Saints, before enjoying a remarkable campaign this term.
Cavani bagged 33 goals in 34 league fixtures after the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, proving he is rightly regarded one of world’s most prolific strikers.
