Edinson Cavani to lead PSG summer clear-out

With another Ligue 1 title almost wrapped up and with a ribbon on it, PSG are summing up the season behind us and making plans for the 2018/19 campaign.

Paris Saint-Germain have managed to restore the domestic dominance but their European adventure has brought just another disappointment as Les Bleus failed to make a notable result in the Champions League despite boosting their squad heavily last summer.

PSG hierarchy has thus decided to ring plenty of changes ahead of the next season and L’Equipe claims that no less than four first-team players could end up leaving the club in the summer.

Edinson Cavani, Javier Pastore, Adrien Rabiot and Angel Di Maria are the four players whose future at PSG is highly uncertain, according to the reports.

The Uruguay 31-year-old striker boasts a remarkable tally of 163 goals for PSG but his status came under question at the beginning of the campaign after a series of disagreements with Neymar.

Cavani is under contract until 2020 and PSG are likely to cash in on him while he is still on top of his game.
